Established in 2012, Hibiscus New Lifestyle (MM2H) Sdn Bhd is an established Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) specialist based in Ipoh, Perak. For over 15 years, we have helped individuals and families from around the world navigate their journey to making Malaysia their second home. While we regularly welcome clients from China and Japan, our clients also come from Oman, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Macau, Norway and many other countries.

We believe that choosing a second home is about far more than completing an application. It is about finding the right place, understanding the local lifestyle and having trusted support throughout the transition. That is why our service extends beyond the MM2H application itself. From initial consultation and application processing to visa, insurance and related arrangements, we provide comprehensive support through every stage of the journey. Once approved, we continue to assist our clients as they settle into life in Ipoh, including helping them search for a property that suits their lifestyle, preferences and requirements.

Our office is located next to LC Ng & Associates, our closely affiliated panel law firm. With a team of 5 lawyers and approximately 60 staff, the firm provides substantial professional and administrative support across a range of legal matters, with particular strength in property transactions.

From reviewing property-related documentation and supporting transactions to addressing other legal matters that may arise during your move, our clients have access to an experienced legal team familiar with the local environment.

A Multilingual, International Perspective

Moving to another country can be easier when you have someone who understands your language and perspective.

Our team speaks English, Chinese and Malay, while our Director is also fluent in Japanese, allowing us to communicate comfortably with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Ms. Gloria Choong Shu Far
B.B.A. (Hons) (Tokyo, Japan)

Ms Gloria Choong Shu Far holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.BA) with Honours from Tokyo, Japan, and brings over 15 years of professional experience to the MM2H industry.

Throughout her career, Gloria has handled numerous MM2H applications, advisory matters and client consultations, assisting applicants from around the world, including Japan, Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Oman, Myanmar, the Netherlands and Singapore.

Her extensive international client experience gives her a valuable global perspective, allowing her to understand the different expectations, concerns and priorities of applicants relocating to Malaysia. Combined with her in-depth experience dealing with the relevant Malaysian government agencies and authorities, she understands the practical requirements involved in preparing and presenting applications effectively.

Gloria brings together international insight, local knowledge and hands-on MM2H experience, providing clients with clear, practical guidance and a well-managed pathway towards a successful MM2H application.

Ms. Ng Ley Choo
LL.B. (Hons) (London), CLP

Ms Ng Ley Choo holds an LL.B. with Honours from the University of London and a Certificate of Legal Practice in Malaysia. With over 20 years of legal experience, she brings extensive knowledge, professional insight and a strong network of relationships to Hibiscus New Lifestyle.

A seasoned practitioner specialising in conveyancing and property-related matters, Ley Choo has developed a wide network of panel developers, financiers and industry professionals throughout her career. Her longstanding presence in the legal community has established her as a senior and respected figure in Ipoh’s legal landscape.

At Hibiscus, she contributes a meticulous and highly detail-oriented approach, with a keen eye for ensuring that documentation and transactions are properly prepared, reviewed and handled. Her extensive commercial network also creates valuable opportunities for property connections, strategic collaborations and trusted business relationships.

Combining legal expertise, commercial insight and decades of professional experience, Ley Choo strengthens Hibiscus’ ability to provide clients with a thorough, well-supported and professionally managed MM2H experience.
